My First Frat Party....

Frats.....the dream place for all college girls, they are looking forward to dressing cute and getting let in to these houses. The frats are looked at as the "athletes" of you were still in high school. I never thought very highly of frat guys or frat parties, they never seemed appealing to me. So my roommate dragged me to one on a Wednesday night...when I really did not want to go especially with having class the next day. We got there and it was a bunch of dudes and 4 girls which were the girls we brought, we all sat around listening to music and getting to know eachother. I lost my roommate again and had no idea where she went to I went home. I came to conclusion that I will never go to a frat party again and especially not on a Wednesday. :)

What it's like doing long distance...

The day I chose to not go to college where my boyfriend went was the day I knew things would get difficult. We are both from the same hometown, living 5 minutes down the road from each other. We did the long distance thing for a couple months while he was finishing his first year of college as I was quickly finishing up my Senior year. It was easy because I was in high school and he could come home and visit me while visiting his family, so coming home on the weekends weren't a problem. Now that we are both at separate colleges 2 and a half hours away from each other its pretty difficult visiting each other when we are both trying to enjoy our college lives. So this means many facetime dates and 2 hour drives for us. Some may say long distance is "stupid" or not worth their time. But making it work through college for the one you love is 100% worth it and it is going more smoothly than I thought.

My First Ever Tailgate as a Freshman

My first ever tailgate was honestly one of the craziest and eventful days of my life. I left my dorm so excited to attend my first tailgate ever, and to be able to meet so many people that I could hangout with in the years to come. I arrived and the over flow of intoxicated people was over whelming. All you could hear is people yelling "Row the Boat!". As my friends and I went around meeting crowds of people it was time to go into the game. I then realized I lost my student ID and my debit card, the two most important things I would need as I attend college. I was mid tears as I was trying to figure out how to get into the game. My friend slid me her ID as she walked in so I could sneak into the game. I get into the stand full of anxiety wondering where all my stuff is. I needed to go home and look, I arrived at the Valleys and my roommate realized they were in her bra the whole time. I missed my first game because my roommate couldn't tell my stuff was in her bra. So you could say it was for sure a good day to be a BRONCO!

Move in Day

Hello,
My name is Kaelyn  and this is my first year at college and I know I am in for many adventures. Move in day was so bittersweet, I had many thoughts going on in my mind between what the hell am I supposed to do now that I am on my own and how will I survive relying on myself? I was so excited and so scared being at the bottom of the chain again, being lost and confused. Going from a small high school knowing everyone and where to go to not knowing a single person or my way around campus. I can only hope as the weeks goes by that college will get a little easier.
